Tweedy

Let’s start with a history lesson today.

Tweed is an unfinished woollen fabric, of a soft, open, flexible texture resembling cheviot or homespun, but more closely woven. It is made in either plain or twill weave and may have a check or herringbone pattern.  Subdued, interesting colour effects (heather mixtures) are obtained by twisting together differently coloured woolen strands into a two- or three-ply yarn.  Tweeds are desirable for informal outerwear, being moisture-resistant and durable.

We wholeheartedly agree.

Made with large removable glass vintage buttons, the Wrap Skirt is a reversible silk tweed skirt.

Available in a bevy of colors, the Wrap Skirt is a high-waisted mini skirt with an A (+) shape.

Catholic school girl? Just finished a tennis match? You were probably wearing this.  Or wishing you were wearing this.

But, you know how sometimes you want to wear two outfits in one day, but then you realize you’re not Grace Jones and you can only wear one?  Well we weren’t satisfied with just one style.  And we’re not Grace Jones.  So we just imagined that we had a non-identical twin, that had good style too.

Problem solved!

The Two Tone Tweed Skirt is the just as good looking, but different twin.

A short, high-waisted pencil skirt, The Two Tone Tweed Skirt features a belt and pocket lined with contrasting materials and a vintage glass button closure.
